Privacy Policy

FamNest is built with one promise: your check-ins are yours. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

• Account info — your name and email, set when you sign up.
• Check-in data — mood, stress, sleep hours, and the goals you write each day.
• Payment info — handled entirely by Flutterwave. We never see or store your card details. We only keep your subscription status and the email used at checkout.
• Basic usage analytics — anonymous page views and aggregate counts, to know what works.

What we do with it

• Generate personalised daily plans (your check-in is sent to OpenAI to produce a recommendation, then stored alongside your check-in).
• Show you patterns over time on your Progress page.
• Send you reminder and weekly-report emails — only if you have those toggled on.

What we never do

• Sell your data. Not now, not ever.
• Share your check-ins with anyone outside the systems above (Supabase for storage, OpenAI for plan generation, Resend for email, Flutterwave for payments).
• Use your check-in content for advertising.

Your rights

You can download all your check-ins as CSV any time from Settings → Your data, and delete your entire account from the same page. For anything else, email hello@famnest.app and we’ll respond within 7 days.

Children’s data

FamNest is for parents, not children. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. You may mention your child in the “goal” field of your check-in — keep it general and avoid storing identifying information about minors.

Not medical advice

FamNest is a wellness coaching tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. If you’re in crisis or need help, please reach out to a qualified provider.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything material here, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
